Have you read about the Tower of Babel? Your book sounds interesting, Seuss-Esque.. I missed long division in third or fourth grade and soon decided that math was not for me, made that my talking point henceforth. Thanks for the read.
I have probably heard it referenced somewhere, name sounds too familiar.... Seuss-esque is definitely one way to put it, I consider it more Carroll-esque. But the language is markedly not "written for children" - as Juster put it, "there are no difficult words for children, just words they have not come across yet". It really is a very lighthearted "for all ages" book that is actually for anyone and everyone. Wit is universal!
