Hi all,
Sorry for the absence of posts this month. I have 4-5 in the pipeline, but as my work consists of responding to messages around-the-clock at the moment, I haven’t had pure writing time without constant distractions (hence the high rate of posting on X, which takes no effort at all and can be done from my phone — something Substack solely lacks as a feature.)
Some of those threads are long enough to be edited into less intellectual blog posts. I also have a ton of links and books I’m always going through, but I’m curious what type of readers stay native to Substack vs those that read across-platform, so here’s a quick poll:
Note that the links/books would likely not include much more than a small blurb, rather than a full discussion. I’m hoping to move forum-style discussion to a more permanent archived format on here rather than X replies (which get lost into the ether) as well. I’m in the process of moving to a native URL and splitting off some non-core content (think a total different shift in content type) to a child-site. Let me know what you all think! Thanks again for your patience.
I don’t have a preference as to what you write, but just wanted to say I’ve been enjoying your Twitter posts. I’ll let the others decide whether you post those here or reserve Substack for more long form pieces
