The BREIT thing has been on my mind for a while. It's shocking that a double digit billions fund has to offer such insane terms to get any inflows whatsoever. It still feels like so much more needs to be flushed out at these higher rates than has already happened... I just don't know what finally kicks it into play. As you see with China, these creaky real estate situations can sort of last endlessly with the backing of monetary policy or even investors who just buy in.
